Kiefer Sutherland in action pose promoting Rabbit Hole TV series with yellow digital background

Rabbit Hole TV Series Review

Rabbit Hole is getting a second lease of life on ITVX. I watched the original on Paramount+ back in 2023, but rewatching it now, it still feels sharp and fresh. This is my Rabbit Hole TV series review.

If you loved 24 (I did), you’ll devour this. It has that same high-stakes, paranoid energy. Critics at the time said it had too many plot twists. Personally, I don’t think that’s possible. Rabbit Hole kept me guessing and genuinely surprised me in every episode, sometimes more than once.

Kiefer Sutherland is brilliant in the lead. Yes, there are shades of Jack Bauer in his performance, but this character is more layered, wounded, conflicted, and unexpectedly empathetic. There’s real vulnerability beneath the bravado.

The supporting cast also adds weight. Charles Dance is predictably excellent, delivering gravitas and menace in equal measure. Meta Golding stands out too, bringing strength and subtlety to a role that could’ve been one-note in lesser hands. Rob Yang adds welcome tension and unpredictability, and Enid Graham delivers a grounded performance that helps balance the show’s more outrageous turns.

Rabbit Hole isn’t just a spy thriller. It’s a commentary on surveillance, trust, and the digital world we’re all tangled in. It might not be for everyone, but for me, it’s a twisty, binge-worthy gem that deserves this second run. and i’d hope a second series!!
